Salish names for Western red cedar include “Long Life Giver”, “Rich Woman Maker” and “Mother.” It is a powerful antimicrobial and antifungal. Thuja is a common topical wart remover, applied as a strong tea or an essential oil. Cedar stimulates the immune system, and has an affinity with the lungs. It can also be inhaled as a steam for respiratory infections. The leaves make a wonderful smudge; its energy is considered protective and purifying. It contains thujone, which is toxic in large amounts. When consumed internally, this plant is usually taken in smaller doses and for short periods of time.  
You will notice the potent presence of this ancient giant of the forest in the resulting tincture. It might make you stand up straighter and you just might feel your feet rooting into the earth.
The Western Red Cedar was the Tree of Life for the Pacific Northwest tribes. It is a warming, drying and stimulating medicine. Anti-microbial and anti fungal. Good for cold, damp stagnation, especially in the lungs. Also has been used to treat urinary tract infections. Internally and externally  it has been used for warts. Red Cedar has ability to do deep work in times of crisis, shock or trauma.
On a psycho-spiritual level, Cedar is a gentle medicine that will help remind you of your connection to place and ancestry. Very grounding.
How To Take
Shake bottle well, open and squeeze the dropper bulb once.
Release the recommended serving (as per practitioner instructions ) into at least 2 oz. of water or juice.
