Drawing Salve combines activated charcoal, kaolin clay, and time-honored skin herbs in a rich coconut oil and beeswax base. Activated charcoal and clay give this salve its deep color and drawing quality, while plantain, chickweed, calendula, and comfrey provide soothing botanical support for irritated, itchy, or unhappy skin.
Plantain has a long history of use for bites, stings, splinters, and minor skin irritation. Chickweed is especially loved for hot, itchy, irritated skin. Calendula supports the skin’s natural repair process, while comfrey provides additional nourishing botanical support. Tea tree oil rounds out the formula with its cleansing properties.
