Breathe Easy is an herbal respiratory blend created for those times when the lungs and airways need a little extra support. Keep it in the apothecary for seasonal allergies, colds, coughs, congestion and bronchial irritation, as well as ongoing respiratory support for people navigating conditions such as asthma or COPD.

This blend combines stinging nettle, goldenrod, mullein, marshmallow root, elderflower, thyme, fennel, everlasting, calendula and chamomile.

Mullein has a long history as a lung herb and expectorant, traditionally used to support productive coughing and help move respiratory congestion. Marshmallow root brings soothing mucilage for dry, irritated tissues, while elderflower has traditionally been used during colds and upper respiratory congestion.

For the allergy side of the formula, stinging nettle and goldenrod provide seasonal support, particularly when the nose, sinuses and respiratory tract are reacting to environmental triggers.

Thyme brings warming, aromatic respiratory support and is traditionally used when cough and bronchial congestion are present. Fennel complements it as a gentle expectorant and antispasmodic herb. Everlasting has an affinity for irritated respiratory and sinus tissues, while calendula and chamomile round out the formula with soothing, calming support.

The result is a comforting tea that can be reached for when breathing feels congested, irritated, reactive, tight or simply in need of support.

How to prepare: Steep covered in freshly boiled water to retain the aromatic components. Strain well and enjoy warm. Honey can be added if desired.
